A Reader's Input on LoadXtreme Current Status

For readers who might still be waiting for some reports on the status of LoadXtreme, this is one of the comments posted by mister_adelie, one of the readers, at LoadXtreme Is Still Close

mister_adelie said...

Latest announcement of PLX LoadXtreme, now VMobile

Although I have already my old account to a new VMobile LoadXtreme account, I am still contemplating when and if I will replenish my load wallet. It is a fact that I still have remaining load wallet on my old account. Unfortunately, it will be again credited back to my new account in the form of refunds.

While weighing the pros and cons...

Here is the latest announcement at PLX LoadXtreme website.

Migration to VMobile LoadXtreme

Experience the VMobile LoadXtreme difference. Here are the mechanics on how to migrate to the best LoadXtreme ever. It's so easy!

Registered Portal LoadXtreme retailers and dealers may opt to reactivate their account under the new VMobile LoadXtreme by sending the following SMS command to 0921-5500078 (Smart) or 0916-7534744 (Globe):

PLX VMOB //

Note: The telco parameter only allows either SMART, GLOBE, TNT, TM or SUN options. Make sure that your cellphone’s number matches the proper Telco choice.

Example: PLX VMOB 5433558765/112233/SMART

Upon successful processing of your request, you will receive a notification that your account has been migrated to the new LoadXtreme. You will also be notified of your new gateway assignment. Please save it in your phonebook for your future use. Please replace the previous SMS command prefix 'PLX' with the new ‘LX’ keyword prefix (example: PLX LOAD should now be LX LOAD; PLX REG should now be LX REG, etc.).

The cellphone number you will use for migration or reactivation will be registered as the default cellphone. It will be included in the list of allowed cell numbers in your authorized cellphone access list (ACL). You can modify your ACL by logging in into your account at http://www.loadxtreme.ph.

By sending the PLX VMOB command, you are signifying your agreement to the new terms and conditions of LoadXtreme under VMobile. When qualified, you are further agreeing that any outstanding loadwallet credits will be temporarily held as Loadwallet Repayment Fund (LRF) and shall become a liability to you by Portal Innovations Corporation (PIC). The LRF fund shall be repaid by PIC thru VMobile LoadXtreme.

All registered dealers of Portal LX may migrate to the new VMobile LX until July 15, 2008 (no extension period)
Dealership Accounts registered under Portal LX that will not be migrated to the VMobile LX after the cut-off date will no longer be granted access to the LX system (including view access of account information using the Virtual Office) except when qualified to receive repayment of LoadWallet.

Only individuals who have successfully migrated their Dealership Accounts to the VMobile LX shall be allowed to participate in the optional myLX program (formerly D2D).

Previous D2D Accounts are not honored as qualification to participate in the new myLX Program

No LX Dealership, No myLX Account

Migrate now and experience the VMobile LoadXtreme difference.

PLX LoadXtreme Under New Management

Here is the latest update from PLX LoadXtreme.

Last June 2, 2008, I received an SMS message from PLX LoadXtreme

Good news! LoadXtreme is back and is now under the management of VMobile Technologies Inc., owned by a leading investment banking company. Migrate your account now!

Since I need to use my mobile phone in migrating to the new account, I put it off at first. After a few days, I was cleaning my inbox when I remembered that I have not migrated yet my account.

I first visited the site and read some of the updates
LoadXtreme now under New Management
VMobile Technologies Incorporated— a subsidiary of Penta Capital Group of companies now runs LoadXtreme. The owners and management of Portal Innovations Corporation (Portal) recently signed an agreement with Penta Capital to finance the new beginning and continuity of the LoadXtreme® business operations nationwide.

Under the new management, the high technology Universal Prepaid Loading System will run under the best in financial management.

I have already migrated my account using the command

PLX VMOB /

TELCO is either SMART, GLOBE, TM, SUN, TNT

Send the message to 0921-5500078 (Smart) or 0916-7534744 (Globe)

Migration was successful. Bad news is my account balance is still in 0 (zero)...

Another update on next post...

LoadXtreme Is Still Close

Since I still receive inquiries on how to join LoadXtreme, I need to make another LoadXtreme update post.

Currently, I do not have any news as to when LoadXtreme will open or if it will open again. Even if LoadXtreme will open again, I doubt if I could still trust the company. LoadXtreme owe much to all their retailers and dealers

First, LoadXtreme offered a 50% reduced price of dealership kits before they closed down. This amount should be reimbursed because I am very sure that those dealers were not able to dispose their kits before the company closed down.

Second, LoadXtreme imposed the maintaining load wallet balance of P100 for retailers and P500 for dealers. This means that all active retailer and dealers left a balance of at least P100 or P500 on their accounts. This amount should be reimbursed

Third, LoadXtreme knew that the company is already [going down] closed yet their bank accounts are still active which means that retailers and/or dealers who are not aware of their current status may still deposit.

Again, LoadXtreme is still close and it is not wise to buy retailer or dealer kits from anybody who are still selling kits.

LoadXtreme Update: Ortigas Office Currently Closed

If you are reading this blog, then the three (3) most probable reasons you are here are

  1. you want to join LoadXtreme as a retailer or a dealer
  2. you want to know when will LoadXtreme resume its operation
  3. you want a reimbursement of your LoadXtreme loadwallet/deposits/investments
If you want to join LoadXtreme, this is not the best time to join the company.

The operation of LoadXtreme suddenly stopped last November 2007 and according to LoadXtreme staff, this is due to system upgrades, etc. and the operation will resume December 2007.

An update was made on December 2008 stating that operation will resume January 2008 instead of December 2007 which was initially announced.

Since I have been busy with other personal matters until now, I just waited for the SMS message which was promised to be sent once operation will resume.

A transaction in the vicinity of Ortigas prompted me to visit the LoadXtreme office located at the 9th Floor of Galleria Corporate Center. I found the previously busy LoadXtreme office closed with only the security guard stationed outside the office taking in names of visitors.

I noticed that most number of reason for visiting is "Reimbursement of Money".

The security guard does not have a definite answer as to when the office will be opened again or whether reimbursement will still be made.

LoadXtreme Update: Service to Resume on January 2008

A previous advisory was made that normal operation will resume first week of December. For those who are still waiting for LoadXtreme to resume normal operation, here is the latest update from the main website

Portal Innovations Corporation’s LoadXtreme program will resume its normal prepaid product distribution thru its 3-tier network (MD-Dealer-Retailer) on January 2008 as opposed to an earlier announced 1st week of December 2007.

As much as we would like to push through to resume normal operations within 1st week of December, there are several things that should be considered and resolved including legal aspects and policies since the inclusion of a new business partner.

Rest assured that after Loadxtreme resume its normal service, several improvements will take effect so as to deliver a premium prepaid product distribution service. These improvements will focus towards strengthening Traditional Retailing, Sales or Production quotas for business alliances (MDs, Dealers, Retailers) and more structured internal policies.

Again, we are seeking for your continuous support.

Thank you.

PLX LoadXtreme Advisory

Here is the latest PLX LoadXtreme Advisory

Loading Services Temporarily Suspended
Announcements (11/23/2007)

We are currently suspending our prepaid loading services for all Over-the-Air (OTA) and electronic pins (e-pins) starting today, 23 November 2007 until 1st week of December 2007.

As much as we would like to have a seamless transition to a better and stable service, it is impossible to have continuous daily operations, including prepaid product loading. We are again asking for your understanding and acceptance for this situation. All our active Dealers and Retailers will receive sms-broadcast once our loading service is available.

We are currently addressing our problem on stability by proposing and hopefully gaining the acceptance of an investor who will obviously help us financially. At the same time, we are finalizing our agreement with our Master Dealers on strengthening our traditional marketing of products to keep the momentum up after resuming services.

Rest assured that we, Portal Innovations Corporation, are still true to our Mission of empowering the underprivileged.

We hope you will be with us through these tough times.

Thank You.

LoadXtreme Update: SMS Notification on Online Transactions Removed?

My mobile phone number is registered at my LoadXtreme account. Since I have been a LoadXtreme dealer, I received SMS notification for all LoadXtreme online transactions that are conducted on my account.

For almost a week now, I noticed that the SMS notifications for all my online transactions except for the Reload Request had stopped coming. I know this because I seldom transact using my mobile phone.

If it is another policy change for LoadXtreme, I hope they will take the time to inform their dealers and retailers.

LoadXtreme Guaranteed Retail Override (GRO) Update

When I joined as LoadXtreme dealers, GRO earnings are reflected real time. When I say real time, earnings from my own retail transactions and that of my retailers are automatically reflected and can be viewed on my online account.

The automatic update has served me well as it keeps me updated on who among the retailers are performing well. I feel somehow more secure that my GRO earnings are really credited into my account. About 3 weeks ago, LoadXtreme decided to implement a weekly account update on GRO earnings of dealers.

When I contacted customer support just a few days after the implementation, the customer support informed me that GRO earnings for the week until Monday will be credited on Wednesdays. My second inquiry as to when GRO earnings will be credited was answered with like "We will inform you when GRO earnings will be implemented because the system is still being tested to be sure that correct GRO earnings will credited." I was waiting for the notice and even checked the main website yet no notice was dispatched.

Since it is Thursday today, I decided to check. GRO earnings were credited. No notice was given, again.

PLX LoadXtreme Update: Minimum Maintaining Balance

Although I dispose or retail electronic loads, I seldom use my mobile phone since I prefer to use the online loading facility. Last Oct. 24, I needed to use my mobile phone for international messaging so naturally, I turn to my loading account. Unfortunately, I received a message saying that I am below the maintaining balance of Php500.00 for dealers.

Before the said event, LoadXtreme services was unaccessible for about 2 days. I presume the 2 days were used to update LoadXtreme's system to accommodate the recent policy changes. This is my own presumption since I am aware how it is to implement new changes on an existing system. Is my presumption true? Those who have limited or no knowledge at all regarding technical issues, will they understand? Can't LoadXtreme create a redundant system where such changes can be tested such that there will be no downtime on their services?

Well, that's an unannounced policy change again on the part of LoadXtreme. I wonder how many policy changes are they going to implement in the next days.

Full advisory for maintaining balance below. I have not fully digested the contents but I know that the charges applied - Php5.00 for retailers and Php25.00 for dealers - per calenday day that the account is below the maintaining balance is considered exorbitant. Even banks do not charge that much.

NEW POLICY ON MINIMUM MAINTAINING LOAD WALLET BALANCE(10/28/2007)

To our valued Retailers and Dealers:

Please be advised that starting immediately, the following amount of maintaining balance in your LoadXtreme Load Wallet should be observed to continue availing of our services:

• Retailers – P100

• Dealers – P500

Within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of registration in LoadXtreme, new or prospective Dealers and Retailers will be restricted from dispensing prepaid products against their load wallet when their balances fall below P500 and P100 respectively.

After the 30-day period, Dealers and Retailers shall be allowed to fully use their load wallet balances even when they fall below the minimum maintaining balance requirement. However, a corresponding fee of P5 (for Retailers) and P25 (for Dealers) shall be charged for every calendar day that the load wallet balance is below the required minimum. Should an account reaches zero (0.00) balance, the system will deactivate the said account in the LoadXtreme database after thirty (30) calendar days.

Dealers and Retailers who registered on or before October 26, 2007 and have load wallet balance falling below the required minimum maintaining balance shall be restricted to fully use their load wallet balance until November 5, 2007. After the said date, their balances may be fully accessed and consumed subject to the minimum maintaining balance policy as stated above. This is in view of improving our services to better serve you and our clients.

Please watch out for further announcements.

LoadXtreme Limited Discounted Dealer's Kit

From October 1, 2007 to October 15, 2007, interested parties to become LoadXtreme Dealers can get the Dealer's Kit for only Php8,000.00 instead of the original Php16,000.00

The LoadXtreme Dealer's Kit (Php8,000) comprises of the following
30 pcs LoadXtreme Posters (replacement of the Php30.00 PLX Load)
30 pcs pricelist
30 pcs Retailer cards
30 pcs brochure (Retailer Guide)
1 pc Tarpaulin
1 pc Guidebook
1 pad Aviva Certificate
Php200,000 Accident Insurance
1 Free SM Shopping Card

You still have a few days more to get your own Dealer's Kit. In case you need assistance, contact details are posted at the sidebar.

LoadXtreme Retailer Kit Free P30 Load Replaced

In line with Portal Innovation Company's (LoadXtreme) continous improvement providing quality service to its members, the original Free Php30.00 for every retailer kit is being replaced.

A copy of the announcement posted on LoadXtreme's website is posted below for reference.

To add more value and long term benefits to Dealers and Retailers, we would like to announce that effective October 1, 2007, all FREE 30 PLX loads contained in every unregistered Retailer kit shall be removed and will be replaced by Merchant Tie-up Discounts.

It should be taken into consideration that the FREE 30 PLX loads that are automatically loaded each time a Retailer account is registered, is originally intended to let the new Retailers test the system with regards to capability to dispense loads. And since LoadXtreme is already in its third year (since October 2004) and Portal has been providing universal loads for more than four years already, the original purpose of the FREE load has already been met. LoadXtreme has reached its maturity and its technology has shown its reliability when it comes to dispensing loads.

As a replacement to the FREE loads, Marketing is already finalizing the list of Merchant tie-ups that would entitle each card-carrying member to outright discounts from participating products and services.

The merchant tie-ups would provide long term benefits to LoadXtreme members as discounts far outweigh the one-time benefit brought by the FREE 30 PLX test load.

LoadXtreme Access Control List (ACL) Beta Test

I noticed today that a new menu was added to my LoadXtreme virtual office

Cell number ACL (BETA TEST)
Define Access List for Cell number (BETA TEST)

Previously, any number or SIM can transact using a single account as long as they know the ID number and PIK of the retailer or dealer. With this feature, retailers and dealers can now specify the mobile phone numbers that can transact. To activate this feature, log-in to your virtual office and input the allowed mobile numbers.

If there are no entries then anybody can use it. I suggest activating the features and placing the mobile number/s to keep your accounts secure.
